A nice read Ryo…I’m glad someone else agrees re Yuki Yamamoto playing at the base of the midfield, he seems wasted as an inside half, I’d like to see him and Lavi switch positions at some point.
Yes, St Truiden definitely took the wrong Yamamoto but Gamba aren’t complaining. Gamba weren’t great vs YFC but were a bit better vs Sanga, Lavi progressed the ball well and Yamamoto got an assist. Results are improving faster than performances though IMO, I think in the first half of the season in tight games Gamba came out on the wrong end of almost every result but they’ve started to turn that round. Poyatos is being a bit more pragmatic tactically, 3313 at the end of the YFC game and Dawhan as a 3rd CBA at the end of the Sanga match. 2 clean sheets in a row and Higashiguchi not making a save vs Sanga (VERY rare for Gamba) are good signs, still I expect several changes over the summer.

thanks! yeah maybe Sint-Truiden will realize they took the wrong Yamamoto...? :P
didn't get to see the Yokohama FC game but will check out the Kyoto game later
how well have Lavi and Yuki co-existed these past two weeks in your opinion?
